Product Sizing
The Traybake size is 23cm x 23cm (9"x9") and is cut into 12 thick slices.
Our Half Boxes are 23cm x 11.5cm (9"x 4.5") and is cut into six slices.
*** PRICE INCREASE - CHOCOLATE PRODUCTS ***
As you may or may not know, cocoa prices have increased to their highest levels for well over 25 years.
This is due to several factors:
Supply deficits in major cocoa-producing countries Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire due to disease outbreaks, aging trees and extreme weather conditions exacerbated by El Niño.
Persistent dry weather in West Africa has lowered yields.
The availability of cocoa beans was also lower, thanks to EU’s deforestation-free regulations
Global demand has surged.
Cocoa and Chocolate saw a 300% increase in price in 2024.
As such, for us now to buy chocolate, the cost is more than double what we used to pay, and with no signs of the prices coming down anytime soon, we have unfortunately had to increase some of our prices on our range of heavily chocolate based products.
